Going from Vegas to Salt Lake is faster on I-15, but there is more to look at on the empty highways running through Nevada.  These photos are funny because I literally pulled over to the side of the highway, put my flashers on, jumped out and took the picture.  I do this all the time.  Cathedral Gorge is not literally on the side of the road, you have to turn in about a half mile to get there, but the rest of them are taken with me standing on the asphalt of Highway 93.  Flying is nice, but you miss all the scenery in between.
