Early in the morning (like while it was still pitch black outside), Jereme and I started our hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon up to Lake Blanche and Sundial Peak. We thought it might rain, but it never did. It was really pretty up there. Supposedly it is a 6 mile round trip, but it is very steep and seemed more like 8 or 9 miles. My knees were utterly shot and wasted into pulp by the time we got back to the truck--but it was fun!
